Teams we’ve worked with

Our Why

ORKA Education is a specialized platform for allied health practitioners, aiming to fill gaps in the current landscape of continuing education. Unlike courses focusing solely on pain modulation, The ACL Experience offers a comprehensive ACL Education Platform in North America. Over 8 weeks, this program combines case studies, lectures, systems, and ACL rehabilitation phasing to equip practitioners with the knowledge and tools to guide clients from Day 1 post-injury throughout the entire rehabilitation year. Gain evidence-based techniques, confidence, and a competitive edge to become the go-to ACL practitioner in your community. Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of ACL athletes?

BRENDAN DEFORGE

OWNER, RTP

“What the team over here at ORKA has done is just so incredible. I think it’s so much more above and beyond, it’s really where the rehab industry needs to be from a systems stand point, from a team standpoint, from a culture standpoint. I really took a lot away from a systems standpoint and also stuff that you can just put into practice right away. It really is all there. It’s something that truly should transform anyones practice.

I honestly feel like the guys and the team here are taking the industry to a place that it absolutely needs to be. “

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this course work?

The ACL Experience is an 8 week online platform. You will have weekly zoom sessions with new modules, case studies, discussions and access to a number of add-ons, including a private ACL Experience mentorship area. The practical drills at the end of each module will be done on your own, and sent to your instructor prior to next weeks module for review. They will also be discussed openly during this interactive weekly lesson.

What times will the Zoom calls be?

The Zoom calls will take place from 9am-11am MT on Wednesdays mornings.

How is this course different from other resources on the market?

This course was curated in it's entirety to be completely individualized to the practitioners registering for the course. No two courses will be the same, and the live interactions will guide the discussions and weekly mentorship and drills. We are health care practitioners too, and we all have taken the course that is completely generic, that you leave retaining 20-30% of the information discussed, and enter practice on Monday the same practitioner you were prior to the course. Not a very good return on investment, is it?

Is this course only for physiotherapists?

With our courses, we've had intakes from all over Canada, including Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, Quebec, Sasketchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. We've had an integrated mix of exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, physicians, chiropractors, and massage therapists and we welcome anyone who wants to further their knowledge in the ACL space, regardless if their caseload is made up of the general population, or the elite athlete.

Do I need to take any pre-requisite courses or be in practice as a practitioner for a certain period of time before I take the course?

Not at all. There's no preliminary requirements, and all levels of practitioner are welcome.

How did you development your frameworks and how will they be delivered?

All systems at ORKA are in PDF format, and were developed in concert with the latest evidence based research. These will be provided to you, and this access does not expire.

Can I connect with my peers from the course?

Yes, you all will be added to an exclusive SLACK channel, where you can ask questions re: current cases, business frameworks, rehab frameworks etc... This is monitored daily by your instructors, so you have access to continued feedback.

Can I get a refund?

We are confident in our systems and frameworks, and have seen them work well in practice. So much so, we offer a money back guarantee. A full refund would be commensurate on the demonstration of participation within the courses, and application/utilization of the course material.
