Don’t let blind spots in your rehab lead to re-injury. Our Return to Sport Testing provides you with the best in class data to make an sound decision on your return to sport.
Our Return to Sport Testing is rooted in providing athletes the most comprehensive injury risk profile, optimizing return to sport, fatigue monitoring, and ultimately, increasing performance. Using our advanced testing systems, we obtain data and insights to identify physical gaps. Not only does this help return to sport decisions, but it also allows our rehabilitation team to tailor rehab programming directly to your deficits. For instance, our ACL testing protocols involve 21 metrics tested over different timelines, beginning as early as Week 2, using VALD Performance products like the Force Frame, Force Decks, Nordbord, Smart Speed, Dynamo, etc. We want to ensure your investment aligns with your goals. the process
Go Through Your Previous History & Goals
This is where we can gather all the pertinent health information we need prior to the testing session, to ensure we have a comprehensive profile of the injury you've suffered. The type of injury, surgery, timeline, medical history and restrictions help dictate what testing we will undertake in the session.
TESTING OF CLINICAL QUALITIES
This is where the fun begins! We will begin with a series of tests on the treatment cable to evalute pain, swelling, motor control, mobility and muscle mass (lost or restored). These are key early pillars that provide a foundation to other aspects of the rehab journey (strength, power, running, cutting, etc.)
TESTING OF PHYSICAL QUALITIES
Once you've completed your on table tests and questionnaires, you'll move to the Sports Science Area where we will use a series of tools to evaluate max strength, asymmetries, power, and the ability to absorb and produce sport at both slow and high speeds. All of these are key factors in reducing injury risk profiles athletes assume when they return to sport.
REVIEW OF DATA, INSIGHTS AND REPORT Report
One of the best parts of the Return to Sport process is reviewing your individualized report/rehab profile. We will provide you with an individually curated overview page that you can take with you that outlines everything tested during the session, and will also benchmark you to other peers based on age, sport, and gender.
This is part of the $300 Championship Package*
Opt for a unique Rehabilitation Development Plan in your testing package to uncover blind spots and showcase the remaining gaps in rehabilitation that may be putting you at increased risk of injury (or re-injury). The plan includes a two-step development approach (rehab and performance recommendations), The report pinpoints specific gaps to target, and differs from the base level Elite Package in that it contains more in depth recommendations about how to ADDRESS the deficits that we have worked together to identify.
